INSTALLATION AND USE For this conversion family, ACS bulletin TSB-174 specifies that the disc spring cage faces the flywheel. Incorrect orientation can damage the clutch and transmission. Follow TSB-TY09 for the TB45006 pull-type release-bearing assembly; it documents washer, shim, bearing and retaining-clip orientation. A single-mass conversion can increase gearbox rattle and transmitted engine harmonics. Follow the supplied instructions for fastening, alignment, release-system assembly and bedding in. The kit torque rating is the supplier's specification; it does not establish a safe limit for the gearbox or other drivetrain components.
