HKS intercooler upgrade kit for the FA20 Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ fitted with the earlier HKS GT Supercharger System. It changes the intercooler and supercharger installation layout while reusing the existing supercharger. This is an upgrade package, rather than a complete supercharger system.
FITMENT Toyota GT86 (ZN6) April 2012–August 2016 — FA20, with HKS GT Supercharger System 12001-AT006 or 12001-AT008. Subaru BRZ (ZC6) March 2012 onwards — FA20, with HKS GT Supercharger System 12001-AT006 or 12001-AT008. Confirm the exact model and original kit specification against the HKS instructions. Not a standalone intercooler conversion for a standard naturally aspirated car. Later supercharger kits must not be assumed interchangeable.

PURCHASED PARTS PACKAGE Intercooler assembly, intercooler piping, suction pipe, supercharger installation and drive components, brackets and fitting parts identified for the upgrade in the HKS documentation. Supercharger assembly, fuel-upgrade injectors and engine-management hardware are not included. The photograph shows an installed new-layout intercooler; the vehicle and complete supercharger system are not included.
INSTALLATION AND USE Some original Toyota/Subaru parts removed for the earlier supercharger installation, including the factory air-cleaner arrangement, are required separately. Check the manual before dismantling the existing installation. Supercharger pulley replacement is required. HKS recommends arranging the pulley work through HKS under service code 12002-AK116. Installation and calibration must be checked by a specialist familiar with the existing HKS supercharger system.
