HKS intercooler upgrades reduce the temperature of compressed intake air before it reaches the engine. Select the correct vehicle and kit specification; core-only packages and kits supplied with piping are different products.
FITMENT Choose the make, model, chassis and production years in the Model selector. Applied-model codes, equipment and existing intake parts also affect compatibility.
SPECIFICATIONS
S Type: designed for standard or lightly modified turbo applications.
R Type: designed for higher cooling demand, including circuit use and larger turbo configurations.
Core dimensions, pipe sizes and included components vary by part number.
INSTALLATION NOTES
GDB E/F: excludes Spec C, factory optional fog lamps and factory recirculation arrangement; separate Racing Suction 70020-AF103 is required.
GRB: requires Racing Suction 70020-AF105 and a B19L battery; factory optional fog lamps cannot be retained.
Evolution VII–IX: requires the appropriate HKS intake. Check cold-weather specification restrictions.
Evolution X: 5256A832 factory part is required for RS and October 2009-on cars.
FK8 core-only kit 13001-AH005 is for cars with piping kit 13002-AH001.
Skyline 700 mm core: factory recirculation return pipe cannot be retained. Check fog-lamp clearance.
Silvia: bumper and body modifications plus a suitable B19L battery are required; late S14 factory fog lamps cannot be retained.
R35 GT1000: separate piping kit 13002-AN004 is required. Spec V compatibility is not confirmed.
Swift: choose the radar-compatible kit for Safety Package cars. Bumper modification is required.
