Cusco Type G competition differential for the Mitsubishi applications below. This high-initial-torque version belongs to the Type MZ mechanical clutch-plate family; it is a different specification from the standard Type MZ unit.

Match the chassis, engine, manual gearbox and original differential before ordering. The current Cusco specification chart groups this part with the applications above; the normal road-specification Type MZ listing alone does not identify this competition unit.

INSTALLATION Professional differential installation and setup are required. Cars originally fitted with a viscous LSD require application-specific conversion parts; Cusco's current Japanese note calls for replacement ring gear and side shafts. Confirm the exact parts with Cusco for your gearbox before ordering. The CJ4A / CK4A application also requires the Mitsubishi manual-transmission case cap MD746157. Bearings, seals, oil and any conversion hardware must be checked separately.
