Check installed clutch height and release clearance before use. The clutch torque rating does not establish a safe limit for other drivetrain components. Inspect the clutch fork and pivot ball for wear before fitting. The floating intermediate plate can rattle when the clutch pedal is pressed; this is an expected characteristic of this design. Follow TSB-166 for assembly sequence, disc orientation and installed-height checks.

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
TSB-269
TSB-166
